Waes Hael! Be welcome here all Heathen brethren, and all who wish to know more about Heathenry. This Formal shrine of the Correllian tradition can trace its being back to an emotional response to my First Degree lessons. I hope this shrine will be an example of the use of anger and frustration as a constructive force for change and growth. And a way for me to return to the Correllian tradition some of what I have gained.
As the Havamal says: 'A gift demands a gift'

The purpose of the shrine will be:
1) To be a place where troth may be kept with the old Gods of my ancestors, the Aesir and Vanir. But to do this in partnership and Troth with The Corellian Wiccan tradition.
2) To be a place of learning, open to all Corellians who wish to study Heathenry and thereby understand it better.
3) To be particularly sacred to My Lady Freya, Niord’s daughter, whose tears are amber; and who chooses the slain from the battlefield.
I am Freyatru. That is both a name I give myself among Correlians and also a description of who and what I am. It means true to Freya. Because you cannot in my view separate Freya from the rest of the Vanir and Aesir it also infers a Troth with the other members of those great families.
I also at times call myself a Vitki, that is to say a magician who uses RUNES; and FreyasGothi which means that I am Freya’s priest.
Folkvang is the plain in Asgard where Freya has her hall: Sessrunnir ( many seated ) Here go all those she has chosen from the battlefields and also those she chooses whose death has not been in battle. I have chosen as my shrine sigil a gyr falcon. Freya has a cloak of falcon feathers which gives the wearer the power of flight. Gyr falcons are the most Nothernly living of all the falcons.
